Ew!
Snow! It's beautiful, sure. Picturesque, even. And it's great that it's happening on a weekend... except it's a weekend where I have plans to go out.
Sickly! The packing and dusting and moving of our department flared up my allergies. Which flared up the cold that I was already fighting off. Which is now kicking my ass - technically, it's kicking my head, throat, ears, nose and overall mood. But you get the gist. On the bright side, I feel bad enough that I've cancelled all the plans I had for today, so I guess I don't have to go out in the snow. Tomorrow is still up in the air.
Apartments! It's great that we found an apartment complex that pays for the gas. Considering we lose so much heat through our sliding glass door and cheap-o windows, they had better! We have the thermostat set at 74 degrees - and it's holding steady at a chilly 66 degrees. I can't get warm. My poor kitties are miserable.
Cleaning! I had planned on doing laundry and dishes and sweeping this weekend. But now I'm sick and can't seem to stand up for a full five minutes without feeling as if I need a nap. So my cleaning pile continues to grow. Boo.
Writer's block! I can't think of anything else to write. But I'm sure that if my brain were properly functioning, it would have been something awe inspiring.
