1. She has the unique experience of having her biological father change, through the result of time travel - and end up marrying her former half-brother.
2. She's somewhat shy, and doesn't like confrontations. In the improved timeline, though, she has more the assertivemness to stand up for herself.
3. Sometimes, for fun, she'll swap names with her best friend (Melody McFly). This is, of course, a nod to her counterpart from the Trilogy Universe (who is, in fact, named Melody McFly).
a reason she sucks
Hmm, can't think of anything. You just have to feel sorry for her in the pre-crisis timeline, it'd be heartless to say anything bad about her.
a reason he/she is awesomecakes
She really is a nice and friendly person, and not one to become easily angered.
five things that never happened to that characterWhew, this is a toughie ( ... )

Also, I thought of something else. Maybe, at some point in the pre-crisis timeline, Griff offers to go on a date with Jamie - and he acts all sweet about it. However, it's a set-up to humiliate her. At some point during the humiliation, he says this:
"You're a stupid little girl, aren't you? You're an idiot, if you think anyone could ever love you. In fact, I don't understand how anyone could even like you. Let's face it, dog - you're going to grow up to be an old maid. You're going to be Old Maid Brown."
And then contrast this with the Griff's attitude towards her in the post-crisis timeline:
"You're a sexy babe with such gorgeous tits. Like it or not, you will be my girl - and, one day, I'm going to marry you."

I guess I now officially have five ficlets to write this month - and then the sample where the group in 2046 meet the good guys, and then make a little tweak to the other two samples.
Let's see how this could work. Melody and Jamie are coerced into working at Griff's strip club. The story if from the POV of Jamie, and maybe it's Bill Tannen who rescues the girls.
