Thanks for the suggestion! I'll see what I can do. Doc never met Clara in the Twins Universe - and, when Marty and Doc of the Trilogy Universe visit the Twins Universe in The Way We Could've Been, Doc of the Twins Universe is already with a lady named Jessica Hoffman - who is Clara's great-great-grandneice.
BTW, you should read The Way We Could've Been, if you haven't done so already. The Twins Universe is the first stop for Trilogy Doc and Marty - and the last universe they visit is the Almanac Universe, which features Hell Valley Marty as Calvin and Hell Valley Doc as Christopher Lloyd Brown. It's 30 chapters, though - so it's a long read.
Maybe I would do is have Doc and the twins go back to September 5 of 1885, because they want to witness the beginning of the clock. Because Doc isn't a blacksmith in this universe, Buford isn't after him. However, he still shows up at the festival to start trouble - and, maybe what happens is, the twins end up angering Buford, so Buford challenges Calvin on a horse race.
As for possible names, maybe Clint and Rhett Eastwood.
I also like the idea of going to 2016, and seeing Marty Jr and Calvin Jr once again. Because Doc never marries Clara, there is no Harmony Brown in 2016 in the Twins Universe. Because Marty chose to not race Needles, the kids are in much better condition - and they don't remember Marty and Calvin from October 20 of 2015, as they never showed up in the new timeline. Maybe the kids even beg Doc to let them spend some time in 1986.
Dinner at The Spare Rib sounds like a good ending for the story.
We can continue to plan ideas together for this story, and I should be able to get this story started by next month. I currently have six stories that are in progress - and, actually seven, if you count Let Freedom Ring. That story is pretty much on the back burner right now, though.
