Check it out, people. It's sort of ... a vision of a few different ways the Joker might've gotten started, hung like Christmas lights from a story about an adventure he had in New York back in 1999. With references to everything from Lovecraft to "The Professional" along the way.

I greatly enjoyed beta-reading this fic, and hope y'all enjoy reading it at least as much!
