(no subject)
So far this weekend has been *bleh*, I'm sick, not sure what I have...been achy, yesterday and this morning felt pukey (didnt hurl though), and i've got the sneezes and a runny nose. maybe a mix of a cold and the flu? Whatever it is it's annoying. I'm not so sick that I'm tied to bed, but I do feel like crap. I was suppose to go to a birthday party for the little girl I babysit yesterday but I felt like crap so I went back to bed. I felt bad for missing the party but I guess it's better that I stayed home anyways so that no one else got sick. Then I realized the other night that I forgot to get my little twin cousins birthday presents...didn't forget their birthday...they turned 6 today...I just forgot to get them a present...*bad mary*. THEN I get a phone call from my best friend last night saying she has switched their wedding date from June 2007 to December 23, 2006. Which I told her was no problem cuz I will be there no matter what (I'm a brides maid), but my hubby and I decided when we got married that we would alternate christmas with eachother's families. This Christmas we are going to my family's in Missouri (yay!!), so NEXT Christmas (2006) we should be staying here for Christmas, but now I can't because my best friend is getting married. So Trevor (my hubby) thinks that since I'm going to be down in Missouri for 2 Christmas' in a row that I should stay up here for 2 Christmas' in a row. AHHHHHHHH! I love his family but omg, their Christmas sucks. They don't spend anytime together, except to open present, and eat breakfast. Then his dad goes fishing, his mom usually goes back to bed and then we're bored the rest of the day. HOW LAME IS THAT ?!? I know it's normal for them but it's definitly not what I'm used to. They don't even put up a tree. His mom is allergic to real trees and his dad doesn't like fake trees, so she has a little ceramic one she plugs in. *Sigh* Oh well...guess I'll continue this later...hubby will be home soon and I don't want to start arguing about this crap again. If anyone wins the lottery and would like to give me their winning ticket I'd be grateful...
