Farewell to 2005
A great deal happened in the past year. Friendships died, old ones were rekindled and even a few new ones were formed. We celebrated the first birthday of our first child, as well as our second wedding anniversary, and our seventh year together. We made the choice to expand our family again by one, and to finally move into a place of our own. Nick decided to quit smoking, I'm proud to say it's been almost 10 months now. I won't get into all the milestones our daughter reached, at this age it's virtually every day now, a new word all the time, a new action, an new quirk, it's just wonderful to be able to watch and help in her development. We have put a rift between Shelli and us, though unintentional, it was also unavoidable. We recieved a huge gift and were able to pay off most of our outstanding debt. All in all it's been a good year. We did have a few bad things happen, but the worst of them was my brother trying to run away back in Feb. We managed to have no deaths in the family this year, but that's uncommon. We nearly had a new birth, but it looks like it will happen within the first week of this new year. With that, I'm outta here.
