Today I get to take Faith on her first outting to Chucky Cheese. I'm not sure if she'll have a blast, or be a little frightened. It's for my cousin Noel's 3rd birthday. Lastnight Angie and I went out and Nick watched Faith and Angie's daughter Jayla. They're roughly the same age. This time they actually played well together instead of being mean to each other. Chris game up from DP to keep Nick company. Though our outting wasn't all that exciting, we went to Toys-R-Us so Ang could do the last of her Christmas shopping for her kids. Then we went and picked up her son from her parents, came back here and ordered pizza. We did lots of hashing old memories. We've been good friends since high school, though we've known eachother since 4th grade. She dated my uncle Eric, as strange as that sounds, but he's only a few years older than me. She chose Eric over Nick, and that resulted in Nick and I being together. We talked about that, and how when she first introduced me to Nick it was it. I was head over heels. Though I may have some issues, I really am still head over heels after all these years. It's hard to believe we met nearly 8 years ago, and have been "us" for the better part of it. Six days from now, it will be 7 years to the day when he came back from Arizona. When he moved there I thought it would all be done, but he only lasted a month and a half away. I still have pictures of us from the day he left. I never realized exactly how much we've been through together. Anyway, I just climbed out of bed to pee, so I think I'll go climb in back in bed with my hubby and try to forget the mess that is going on here. Oh, I didn't even mention that! Nick's trying to throw his mom out, but it doesn't seem to be working. She won't leave.
