So we're having a house warming party and it doesn't seem like anyone other than my family is going to show. How sad. I didn't realize how few friends we actually do have. Most of them half way across the country. Oh, I guess I needed this reality check. It's good for the soul, gives me a place to start. I'm kind of revamping my life. Though I hit ( Read more... )

Well...I never even heard that you were having one. And you can consider me a friend..distance may seperate us and make it harder to see each other, but you can always call me for anything

When we told people about the house warming party you weren't over with everyone else. I'm pretty sure you were sitting at the bar with (I think his name's Mike) and more than a little tipsy. Didn't figure it was a good time to tell you, and we haven't made it back down there since. Sadly, I don't have your number either :(
It was just one of those days for me where I was down about everything. I get so lonely when Nick's at work. Everyone I called was either busy or not home... this wasn't necessarily directed at the DP crowd anyway. The friends I've made in adulthood are really friends, that includes the DP crowd. The heart breaking has to do with friends I've had for 10 years or more who live right in my area... other than my best friend. I can't even seem to get them to come to dinner or even hold more than a 2 minute conversation.

well, I'm actually going to be going to Lynch in Madison on Nov 17th instead. I will try to make it, if I'm invited.
