how.. ok.. let's see if this makes any sense to you. the last shirt i made before these two, i used a premade stencil, but in the case where you have to make your own, basically.. do you have photoshop? that's what i use for mine. find a pic you want to use and go to image, adjustments, threshold. which will change it to just BLACK and WHITE. no gray. mess with that a little till you're happy with it. save it. print it out. tape it to some freezer paper (like wax paper on one side and regular paper on the other) and cut it out using like a razor blade or something. they have what's called an xacto knife which alot of people use, i just got one but haven't used that yet, i've just been using a utility knife. anyway. cut out the black parts from the picture. iron the freezer paper/picture onto the shirt (or jacket.. or bag.. or.. you get the idea) so that it doesn't move. get some fabric paint and a sponge brush and paint over the stencil. let dry. iron over it to heat set it. wash it inside out ( ... )

good luck and you totally have to let me see the results. even if they're not that great at first you ONLY get better. my first one i thought was awesome until i made my next one and i was like dude that other one sucks lol
