Wii feet

Dec 16, 2009 20:43

Two weeks of semi-regular wii active have brought me up from cubicle drone to a fairly normal fitness level. I'm rather pleased to be able to complete all the moves properly, and with reasonable speed. I'm ready for this to get a little harder, at least in the arms. The legs are just coming up to par.

The mood of the workout has changed. I figured out all the pieces, rediscovered the pause button, and am just not in much pain. This actually takes a little bit of the fun out of the workout, I miss sassing the drill instructor fitness coach while I desperately try to survive the exercise. I can do all the exercises without thinking oh-my-god-I-hate-you. I admit, I did kind of enjoy having a guiltless experience of genuine bitter dislike. It's just not often I get to do that... but she isn't a real person, and I can call her a $!+*# when she's trying to make me rip my own legs off in slow motion.

I've decided having healthy feet will make this fitness thing much more sensible. A day or two of wearing toe socks has made a noticeable difference. I have toes! The little ones aren't funny looking little stubs! Once they stretched out, they filled up those long slender toes on the new shoes and socks almost all the way.

This may require a little explaining.. would a picture help?
