Temptation and Doubts
Today I spent the day cleaning my room, having alone time, and setting up a small alter. Lit some incense a few minutes a go, lit a candle for continued finical success. Noticed my bronze Ganesha has gone on a walk about. Hope I can find it soon.
Got on the computer to check a few things. On a whim I looked on Craigs list to see what kind of Massage Jobs were being offered in my area. Not only were there 17 posts, but 3 of them were for my dream job and for different locations.
I know that I just opened my new location, and that it has LOADS of potential, but I can't help but be tempted by the prospect of an already set up business. Also, I know that I have what it takes to build a successful practice at this location. I'm already getting nervous for August, which is the SLOWEST month for massage out of the entire year. For some reason I always set up a new massage practice in the summer.
My mantra this month has been to stay positive. Focus on my new business venture, and work at it every chance I get. This week I need to come up with a marketing strategy. It helps that Devon has a full time job and we can pretty much cover all of our most urgent bills with his income. Just waiting for the business to build up some steam and I won't worry as much.
