(no subject)
had a suprise awakening this morning and was shipped off to the dentist's without warning. This is a strategy of the
mom developed over years of dealing with my brother, where it's so much worse knowing about it for like a month
than just having to worry about it for a few groggy minutes in the car, and before you know it, they're sticking sharp
metal objects in your mouth.
Anyway, came back from that, and shopping for Josh and I, which went quite well, except that my dad needed a new
tooth brush and i wanted to get him a Blues Clues one, but my mom said that we didn't need any added expenses. I
sneaked it into the cart at one point but for some reason it wasn't there at the checkout. Maybe I was uncovered and
she sneaked it back out. Dag!
Later on that day.....went down to Baskin Robbins to hear the combo, and very specifically David, play. So then a
bunch of people came over to hang out in the pool, which turned into the hot tub very quickly. So many good times
have been had in that hot tub. You should come the next time it's open!
Earth, Wind, and Fire is feeding my soul at the moment. Great music. Great to have a brother who has such good taste
in music. But then again, he is a brass player, and great musical taste comes in the package deal.....unlike those flutes
