Metal Fight Beyblade
Hey there, minna-san, how are you? Good? I hope so...
I found out there is a spin-off Beyblade series called Metal Fight Beyblade, it will be called Beyblade: Metal Fusion in the dub according to ANN.
I'm an old-school fan, so it'll be different for me not seeing Rei anywhere (I'd probably get the same feeling of weirdness at seeing no Kuroudo if I watched Crush Gear Nitro), but I think I will check it out anyway.
I checked out the cast, and saw that the following seiyuu have roles in it: Ishida Akira, Hirata Hiroaki, Hayami Sho, Sugiyama Noriaki and Koyasu Takehito. Hirata-san will be voicing a computer called Merci, and will be speaking a mixture of Japanese, English AND French! <33 Ishida-san's character Tobio has a funny blonde afro (which he prefers not to be messed up) and believes he is a soldier, saying "Mission Complete" if he wins a match, or "Mission Incomplete" if he loses. He's also seen sucking on a lollipop often.
I was actually thinking to myself "I wonder if Ishida-san will be in the new series..." as I was clicking into the page, and oh my gosh, there he was right under Kanada Aki! Hee! They may be in different series, but both Hoshi-san and Ishida-san have been in Beyblade! :3 Hoshi-san was Brooklyn in G-Revolution, the third series.
