Fanfic ideas of late (includes excerpts)

Hey there, minna-san, how are you? Good? I hope so...

I am still writing crossovers. The other day, I started writing a body-switch fic of Angelique and Get Backers (with a few "same seiyuu" jokes tucked in). There is something that causes Lumiale and Akabane to switch bodies, and their powers are also switched (so imagine Akabane summoning sacrea and Lumiale summoning scalpels). The fic will end with the Clavis x Lumiale pairing.

Excerpt
Himiko snickered to herself, and was heard by Ban. She noticed his questioning gaze and replied, "I never thought I'd ever see Ginji get so close to Akabane without freaking out."

"Heh, that's true. Maybe when Jackal's back we should just keep telling Ginji it's someone else."

"Nah, won't work. Jackal would just give it away by saying something like I have returned, Ginji-kun, and I have been ever so bored without you. Would you care to make it up to me by fighting with me? or something else along those lines." She noticed Ban appeared freaked out. "What?"

"You have spent way too much time with him, that was too perfect. He really would say something like that."

MakubeX let out an exclamation at something he had just found out. "This is not good!" He turned to Lumiale. "I know you would rather not, but please try to summon a scalpel from the body you're in."

"How would I do so?" Lumiale questioned.

"I guess you would just will for it to come out...I don't know how myself..."

Lumiale focused, imagining he was drawing out some of his sacrea.

Everybody watched intently, waiting for a scalpel to appear from anywhere. Nobody blinked. Breaths were held.

Lumiale felt something being pulled from the body. It was a very familiar feeling. Please...no...

All watched as, instead of scalpels, something like blue glitter emerged from Akabane's body.

"What the fuck is that?!" Ban exclaimed in shock.

"It's pretty~!" Ginji shouted as he went to catch some of it, as if catching thistledown.

Lumiale fell onto his knees. "This is not good. I..."

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"This is Mizu no Sacrea...if I am able to summon it then..."

MakubeX nodded gravely. "Akabane-san still has his scalpels."

"No..."

"Then we should try to work this out even faster. Now we can confirm Lumiale's friends are in danger," Himiko stated.

There is also a Cafe Kichijouji de and Here Is Greenwood crossover. Shun and Jun are on student exchange with each other. Jun experiences the interesting dormitory (and yes, he does often have drop boulders or other large objects on or even throws the guys who make a remark about his appearance) while Master is hoping things don't get too crazy that Shun will tell everyone to never consider visiting the cafe.

The next afternoon, at the usual time, someone else entered the cafe. They had long, pink hair and very effeminate features, except in the chest. Could they be a young woman hoping to stop in and have a cup of tea or slice of cake? "Hello? Excuse me, is anyone here?" The voice was quite high too.

Maki practically zoomed to the door when he heard that lyrical voice call. "Hello, welcome to Cafe Kichijouji, I am Ookubo Maki, may I know your name?"

"Sure, it's Kisaragi Shun."

"Shun...ah, what a lovely name. It just rolls off the tongue. Please, follow me, I'll lead you to the best table in the house."

Shun giggled.

Maki pulled out the chair for Shun. "Now, what would you like to order?"

"Actually, I'm here for another reason. Is Mitaka-san in?"

"Oh, of course, I will go get him. I will return shortly."

"Thanks." Shun watched Maki leave whilst humming to himself and giggled again. Boy, would Maki be in for a shock.

Maki and Yuuichi approached the table, followed by the rest of the group. Minagawa could tell something about the newcomer that he wondered if the others could see it too. He looked to Natsumi. Our guest is not as they appear.

Natsumi had a closer look from the distance he stood and saw it too. Being an ex-assassin from the amazon had its perks when it came to observation after all. I see what you mean, Hifumi-chan.

Maki was still humming to himself, pleased about the company.

Yuuichi greeted the newcomer. "I am Mitaka Yuuichi, the manager and owner of this cafe. Welcome."

Shun smiled widely. "Thank you, Mitaka-san."

"So, what is it that I can do for you?"

"Actually, I'm from Ryokuto Gakuen, I'm on exchange with your employee Ichinomiya Jun."

"Ah, so you're Shun-kun. Once again, I welcome you here."

Natsumi and Minagawa both silently counted the seconds it took for the others to react, even Yuuichi was being too calm. And...now!

"EH?!?!" Tarou, Tokumi, Maki and Yuuichi exclaimed.

"You...you mean you're a...a guy?!" Tokumi exclaimed.

Shun giggled to himself and nodded. "Yep! I'm a guy!"

Aside from crossovers, I am still working on Yasusen fics, as well as Heart's Requiem, the final fic in my Lumiale x Eisen series.

Excerpt: Heart's Requiem

The carriage arrived in the grounds of the seichi, and attracted a lot of attention from any nearby shugosei including Heuye, Randy, Sei-Lan, Zephel, Olivie and Charlie. The six young men approached the carriage hurriedly just as the doors opened.

Yasuaki opened his eyes and saw numerous familiar faces, all showing great concern and signs of their own grief. He nodded in acknowledgement before continuing to step out of the carriage. He was followed by Victor and Marcel who also appeared somber.

Olivie moved from Charlie's side to Yasuaki's. He was among the first to know about the onmyouji's feelings for the monk. He still admired how Yasuaki could let Eisen go, showing just how much he truly loved him. "I'll take you to Lumiale's manor."

Yasuaki nodded, suspecting he'd be escorted there as soon as he'd arrived. "Please lead the way, Olivie."

The Shinchou no Yume no Shugosei nodded solemnly. "This way."

The rest of them watched Olivie and Yasuaki walk off. "Do you think they'll be able to help each other?" Heuye asked of the others.

Zephel shrugged. "Dunno. But I damn well hope so."

"We all do..." Marcel added softly.

And here's an excerpt from my discrimination Yasusen fic...

Excerpt
Inori didn't appreciate the nickname, but this time he let it slide in favour of what Kotengu was talking about. "Hold on, you mean the kids were talking about Yasuaki?"

"Of course they were. The relationship between him and Eisen is the talk of the citizens right now."

"Relationship?"

"Yeah, they're in love with each other."

Silence filled the room, broken by Eisen getting to his feet and hurrying out of the room, Yasuaki following close behind.

"Wow, who would've expected that?" Tenma remarked.

"I never would've even guessed," Inori replied.

"We should've realised, they are closer than friends, They always desire to be with each other whenever there is a mission, not including last time," Takamichi commented.

"So, Eisen-sama and Yasuaki-dono truly have found happiness. I'm just surprised Eisen-sama never told me," Tomomasa stated.

"I don't think any of us were told. Kotengu-chan, how did you find out? I don't think Yasuaki-san would've told you," Shimon asked the tiny demon.

"I snuck in last week and saw them kissing each other," Kotengu murmured, aware he'd just broken a promise he'd made. "They didn't want to tell you because they were scared you wouldn't react well."

Akane nodded. "I thought so. Nobody knows how others would react to them loving someone of the same gender, so they'd prefer not to tell in case they receive a negative reaction. Yasuaki-san and Eisen-san were worried we wouldn't take it well. They must feel terrible right now. Inori-kun, what did the children tell you?"

"Their parents are enraged because they saw two men holding hands in an intimate manner, Some of the adults have used accusing and hurtful words on those men...oh no..."

"That's exactly why they were worried about us finding out."

And that's it for now, minna-san. Ja ne!
