I blame Neoromance dramas... XD;
Hey there, minna-san, how are you all? Good? I hope so...
I spent most of my day helping Jason and Pa deliver junk mail, so I'm pretty beat. I hope I can get my energy levels back up by Friday, I'm planning to go to Melbourne. If I can find the hospital, I'm going to pay my uncle a visit. I really should've paid him a visit beforehand, but when I tried, nobody was home...
Anyway, that's not what my entry is about. Some of you know by now I find myself inspired to write my fics based on something I'd seen, read or experienced. I've found that the Neoromance dramas definitely give me a lot of inspiration for Ange/Haruka crossover fics, and yes, folks, they all wind up shounen-ai. What can I say? I adore Yasuaki x Eisen.
My first crossover was Heart's Song, in that it actually has a crossover pairing, brought about by some very lovely and cute fanarts I'd seen on a Japanese fansite. Yes, the pairing is Lumiale x Eisen. Then there was I'll Always Hear The Song Of The Heart, which has Luva and Yasuaki trying to console heartbroken Lumiale and Eisen because they'd had to part ways forever. However, they found they could still reach each other with their music. Farewell, Song Of The Heart is part three of my Lumisen fics. Years had passed in the timeframe Yasuaki and Eisen are in, and Eisen is taken by age. The fourth and final is a WIP called Heart's Requiem, in that one, Yasuaki returns to the Shinchou no Seiji to help Lumiale find closure after Eisen's passing.
And then I wrote another after seeing the drama from the third Neoromance Festa, and recalling a little talk I'd had with Vraie on her LJ regarding drunk Hachiyo and Shugosei. Those of you who speak to me via my MSN may have noticed my newest personal quote: Note to self: Lumiale, Luva, Eisen and Yasuaki get drunk easy XDDD. In the live drama, Eisen and Lumiale had only ONE GLASS of sake and were drunk almost instantly! Yasuaki is also very intolerant of alcohol, and with Luva, don't give him any or he won't be quiet, as was proven in an Angelique Gaiden CD drama.
So, what do I do? I write a fic that has Oscar and Tomomasa try to help those four increase their tolerance levels, but they give them wine with high-alcohol content. That leads to a sleeping onmyouji, talkative Luva, and Lumiale and Eisen upset that their feelings of affection hadn't been noticed. Oscar decides on some matchmaking being needed and puts Lumiale in Luva's bed with Luva (aww, Oscar's being nice to Lumiale...), while Tomomasa sets Eisen and Yasuaki on the sofas in Luva's manor. This isn't your typical drunk!fic, nothing intense happens at all, but Lumiale and Eisen do confess to Luva and Yasuaki the next morning following certain circumstances. Now, I'm more of a Clavis x Lumiale fangirl, but I found myself writing Luva x Lumiale to go with the fic. I gave the fic the lame title Bottoms Up!
