RWBY and Equestria Girls

Hey there, minna-san! How are you? Good? I hope so...

Okay, so Rubi and her pups are doing very well. Can't believe they're already 5 weeks old...

Anyway, this entry is for fangirling.

First, Equestria Girls.

I was very excited about this movie, I like the idea of a parallel universe where everypony is human. I was a bit peeved at Spike being a dog though, no matter how cute he was. I wanted to see him as a human too... Oh well. Anyway, the story might've been a little cliche, but it was still very enjoyable. I loved the songs, especially the one they sing in the cafeteria. I'm so getting it on DVD when it's released.

Now for Rooster Teeth's newest series: RWBY (pronounced "Ruby"). The series is actually pretty good. Monty Oum did an excellent job with the animation! My fave character has to be...

Ruby Rose. She's so cute! Especially when fangirling over the weapons she sees when first arriving at Beacon. Her own weapon, Crescent Rose, is also pretty awesome. It's a large scythe that can also turn into a sniper rifle...and she forged it herself! She's voiced by Lindsay Tuggey.

The cast is awesome too! They even have Kathleen Zuelch (Tex in Red vs. Blue) and Shannon McCormick (Wash in Red vs. Blue, Akabane Kuroudo in Get Backers) as staff of Beacon... Kathleen is Glynda Goodwitch, and Shannon is the headmaster Professor Ozpin.

It might take a while to get used to Weiss Schnee, she just rubs me the wrong way. Though, I guess she is an heiress, so... Still, she doesn't have to be so rude to Ruby when it was partly her fault that Ruby blew them both up.

That's it for now, minna-san! Ja ne!
