1. What did you do in 2006 that you’d never done before? - got myself a "big girl" job that actually makes me feel like i'm making some sort of contribution.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? - i made a few. broke one or two. but there's one i definitely KEPT.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? - yes! kim. :)
4. Did anyone close to you die? - yes... and it still hasn't really hit me.
5. What countries did you visit? - no international travel this year... but i'll change that in '07!
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? - more adventure.

What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? - i suck at dates but i'll give you descriptions: every day i was in nyc with amanda and steven, that day in dc with amanda and yvonne, my two birthday dinners, seeing bob dylan live, seeing death cab live and then meeting them after the show, and hiking on the AT with amanda.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? - getting a job that makes me feel good about myself, finally.
9. What was your biggest failure? - not being in grad school.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? - nothing major, just the usual scrapes and tumbles.
11. What was the best thing you bought? - OVER THE TOP!!! haha... kidding... probably a tie between the dylan concert ticket and the death cab concert ticket.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? - my sister for finally going to therapy.

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? - so many people. mostly those people i don't see anymore. there's a reason i mainly hang out with my alexandria/fairfax/springfield/dc/arlington friends these days. people in woodbridge suck... with exception of a few special people who know who they are.
14. Where did most of your money go? - movies, music, and books. and caffeinated beverages. and trader joe's. um, and rent.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? - MEETING BEN GIBBARD!!!

a) happier or sadder? immensely happier
b) thinner or fatter? i never gain or lose weight. not since i was like 14.
c) richer or poorer? ehhh. i've always been pretty poor.
