I'm back on the dating site I used before, and currently have a couple guys I'm just getting started on getting to know. I'm limiting it to texting only for now. Self-preservation first. I have been around dating web sites for about 12 years now, but haven't taken any seriously in a long time. I'm pretty jaded about it, dating, and men in general. I find it way harder to read people on there and I have little to no patience for people being idiots on those sites, and yet am afraid to jump into sharing my personal info too soon with anyone. I think it's just not for me, personally

I'm using the site OKCupid, and so far I like it pretty well. They don't make you pay before you can message people.

I'm being careful about not giving out much info, and even if I give out my phone number, I only accept texts for now. I'm not ready to speak to them over the phone.

I'm getting a lot of responses, but I'm weeding a lot of them out.
