Gmail just introduced (as part of GMail Labs...or Google Labs, I forget) a function to Undo sent mail. Seriously.
Though it's not quite as awesome as it sounds. When you send an e-mail (and if you have this feature enabled), they'll hold it for five seconds before shipping it. That way, if you notice something wrong just as you're hitting send, you can quickly stop it from going anywhere after all. Not great for those things you realize minutes or hours later, but I can think of a time or two that five seconds would have been enough. I sometimes see something wrong with an e-mail literally as soon as I complete a Send click.
I think the delay time should be either more or adjustable, though. If they can do 5 seconds, surely they can do 10. Or 60.
