Wow it has been awhile since i updated. I think somewhere along the line i just got tired of bitching about all the stupid people who seem to have the sole purpose of annoying the hell out of me. But i figured since i have all this time on my hands, and evidently everyone and their mother reads my journal but never leave any comments so i wouldn't know about it, i would update. Not that there is anything exciting going on. It's Spring Term at Alma and that means there's a fraction of the students left on campus. The choir is gone to Poland, the Mexico trip left today, the China trip should be leaving soon, and the Gilmore people haven't gotten back yet. So that leaves about 10 people on my floor where there used to be more than 30. That and having the easiest spring term on campus makes for very little to do. There's hardly any work outside of class and class only meets for 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. Mondays and Fridays there isn't class and we frequently get let out early or have classes cancelled. So that leaves a lot of time to do nothing.
And that got me thinking that it might be a good time to start trying to plan a trip to Cedar Point. I've been trying for a couple years to get one together but never with any success. All i need is at least 15 people who are interested in going. That's the minimum for a group rate which saves almost $15 off the gate price. Anyone is welcome. I only need a group so that it is cheaper, not everyone has to stay together or even like one another. We only need to be a group long enough to get a discount on tickets. I'm looking at a weekday possibly in the first or second week in June. Cedar Point requires at least 3 weeks advance notice for groups to get tickets and i think that time frame works so that it is early enough in the season that it won't be too packed and the temperature shouldn't be too bad either. Anyone interested should leave a comment or email me, or even call me because i hardly ever get any phone calls. If anyone would like to help me organize this it would be greatly appreciated.
But that's all for now. My time in the lab is done so i will go and hopefully remember to update more often.
