Just updating after another long pause
My new job enters its 6th week of training. We have a supervisor now that is beating us over the head with "RevGen" aka revenue generation. Not a big fan of selling stuff, however I can do it if I think it is actually a good idea. What I don't want is this guy trying to fake kiss our collective asses about doing it. It is our job, we will do it. I will sell warranty X because I think it actually benefits someone, not because he told me. I can read the warranty and make up my own mind about it. I think we actually start taking calls live tomorrow. Should be a nerveracking experience. It has been nice to try and get to talk to Chihiro more often lately. Even if it is only for a couple of minutes during her lunch break in the time before I go to bed. Just got over being sick, glad my body has decided to actually fight illness, albeit a couple of days late. The christmas season has been nothing but annoyance this year. I haven't been a big christmas person in a while and this year not having anyone to celebrate with on my own is kind of a bummer. Shades of sin. Oh well. Off to bed I go, work in 6 hours.
