Hi, I just opened a new icon challenge called psd_challenge. The idea of the challenge is to download the psd of an icon and edit/manipulate the existing layers to create a fresh and (hopefully) better icon.

It's a very unique challenge and it's definitely a lot of fun (and at times frustrating!) for icon makers to work within parameters. It also helps gain a better understanding of how editing adjustable layers like curves, selective color, and hue/saturation can affect an icon.

If you could make a post or add this to the end of your next mod post, it would be much appreciated :3

You have a lot of different communities and seem to be pretty in the icontest scene whereas I'm just getting back into it so I really have no idea how to promote this lol...

If only it wasn't for people who use Photoshop 'cause I'd definitely try it out, but I only use PSP =/
