I wrote this a while ago for school...and i absolutely love it. its prolly one of my favorites ive ever written

Crying Stars
Glitter spilled across the sky
All for the tears the world has cried

Years and years they sparkle bright
Then a dark hand cuts off their light
The loss of a love, the loss of life
The loss of eternity is a saddening sight

A painful tear so full of sorrow
Falls here today; shines there tomorrow
A star is born; a star burns out
But life will progress without a doubt

The stars glow bright to light the way
for souls who need a place to stay
Tiny angel eyes alight
The path to heaven still burning bright

One single shooting star explodes
One last and final wish for hope
To erase from the past all the death and despair
And to embrace in the future, the people who care
