hi. how are you? ill just go ahead and tell you that im fine, because i probably wouldnt hear it if you said "fine, how are you?" so ive had a couple really good days.
on Sunday night i flew to Duke with my mom. we went to an orientation-type session all day Monday. that was really fun and i am more excited than ever about college. the engineering school is pretty much a sausagefest, but i spotted a few foxy ladies and im sure they spotted me too.
yesterday i went skateboarding. its been awhile and i really suck. i was skating around on the sidewalks by my old house and i went up to my gradeschool where i used to skate. lo and behold there were already skaters up there and they flagged me over. i talked to them and skated with them for about 2 hours...did i mention that all of them were between ages 10 and 12. they thought i was really cool because i could do a bunch of tricks and i used to skate there a long time ago. i worked with them on some tricks and i convinced them to try skating a 3-stair and one of them even landed it. one of the kids who wasnt so good just pushed his board down the stairs and it landed, upon which he yelled "ghostrider!" hilarious. there was a girl from the class below me who was babysitting a kid by where we were skating. she asked one of the kids i was chilling with how old we were. he responded, "im 10, those guys are 11, hes 12, ......and hes 18 (pointing to me)." im sure i looked like a total lameass but i had so much fun yesterday. we were talking about skate videos and one of them asked what the rating was for a certain video. the smallest kid in the group exclaimed "f*ck ratings." that was really funny.
last night i was cleaning my fishbowl and while i was dumping the water out, i dumped one of the fish. it landed on the filter thing above the drain. i picked it up and it felt really gross but its still alive.
today i went to the Trinity-St. X baseball game. Trinity won and it was awesome. i havent gotten to get rowdy cheering for something in awhile. it was really fun. i sat in the front row and for the first few innings i could hop on top of our team's dugout when something cool happened. i did it one too many times and one of the stadium workers told me i couldnt do it anymore, but she was gorgeous so i forgave her. at the end of the game when we won, me, Steve, Jon, and some others climbed on top of the dugout again and ran around.
