uuuuuuuuugh
Okay....so I've been sick since spring break. It started out as a head cold. The ER doctor told me to "drink tea and ride it out." So, I did, and I kind of got better. And then the ridiculous weather changed soooooo much that I kind of got sick again. This time it was definitely more than a head cold.
I decided to just try to ride it out again, since I'm allergic to medicine. Anyway, after being yelled at by my parents and the sisters in SAI and Dr. Lychner...two Thursdays ago, I went BACK to the ER and refused to leave until he gave me medications. He gave me an antibiotic, a cough suppressant, and tylenol with codeine.
Unfortunately, all of those were making me sick. And I stopped taking them. I made it through finals week (somehow) and then my mom forced me to go back to the ER on Saturday morning. They did blood work and I have MONO. :( BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I'm under no restrictions, minus contact sports so I don't rupture my spleen; I just have to do everything in moderation. It's kind of sucky, and I'm getting bored with just laying around...not gonna lie.
I'll keep you updated...I have good days and bad ones, but all in all I'm feeling "better."
PS: I'm working at Yankee Springs this summer. Come camp, come visit, screw Fort Custer :)
