Well I guess I'm well overdue to post on my spiffy little LJ thingy. I guess first thing on the agenda of posting about is the fact that I'm a big softy and have to mention Cassie. It's gettting close to 4 months now with her, and she's still awesome. (Not like I had any doubt) We celebrated v-day today, because on monday she has school and I have to work. This is the first Valentine's day I've ever spent with a girlfriend, or had a girlfriend during this time of the year to begin with. It was really nice, and I had a really good time.
We went to Olive Garden to eat, which was a 35-45 minute wait, SO we went over to Last Stop CD Shop to look around while we waited. Man, I've never seen that place so void of movies and music in my entire life. That can mostly be credited to the fact that it was 1/2 off weekend there....the employees took the half off to a whole new level, and shaved half of their beards, so one half was nice and grizzly, the other half was as smooth as a babies butt. Anyway, we finally headed back to Olive Garden and our little notifying thingy-ma-bob went off while we were driving back. We got back and went inside only to find out that the aformentioned going off was caused by the distance. Seeing as we wern't up to eat yet, we went back to my car and opened the V-day gifts. I got Cassie a pair of jade colored dangly earrings, and a jade square necklace with a leather strap. She got me a buttondown shirt, and a Family Guy T-shirt with Stewy saying "Why you sick, sick little moo cow." It was quite clever seeing as I love Family Guy and she has a thing for cows, so it worked well.
So, finally we got called to eat, and it was good. Talked about shit, and stuff while we were there, and then we made out way to the theaters to see Million Dollar Baby. AMAZING MOVIE. I reccomend it quite fully to any, and everyone. Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman...enough said. After the movie was done, we headed back to Cassie's house, and I dropped her off for the night. PS, she looked really amazing tonight. (Yes, I'm cheesy, and yes Cassie is really gorgeous.)
Other then V-day, I've been working my butt off at Midco Call Center. Just hit my three month mark there, and it's still a really cool job. Hell, I'm finishing off 300-600 page books in a week or so. I can't complain about being payed to read. Just an aside to you who don't know. Midco Call Center (MCC for short) is a company that takes catalog requests, orders, and customer service issues for over 100 companies across the US. Reading is just what I do when I'm not taking a call.
I guess the main reason I'm liking it there so much is because it pays so well, and because of getting full-time there my mom co-signed for me and I'm the proud owner of a 2002 Honda Accord SE. Cost me about 10k for the car, but I'm really happy with it, and I don't think I'll be getting a new car anytime soon. So, if anyone needs to buy a car. I have my '92 Civic, and my '91 Beretta for sale. 1k each. So damn it buy them!
That's about it in the life of Brandon. I'm sure if I posted more often, my subject matter wouldn't be so broad, and things may sound more interesting and involved, but I've been lazy and busy. Lazy at home, and busy at work, which makes it kinda difficult to post.
Have a good night guys and gals, and I'll post again soon...maybe...meh...if you're lucky
