"I'm Ozzy and I'm old..."
So yesterday I went to Ozzfest. I had a pretty good time. The mainstage had a lot more better acts than the second stage this year. All the music on the second stage sounded exactly the same... So shaved head white guy screaming into a microphone about God knows what, while the music just sounds like random noises and distortion. The bands worth mentioning are Arch Enemy, Killswitch Engage, Triviu, As I Lay Dying, and Mastodon. Oh yeah, and Rob Zombie kicked ass too on the second stage. I unfortunately missed half of the set of the band I wanted to see most, In Flames, but from what I did see/hear they rocked!! Iron Maiden was awesome, and so was Ozzy (or should I say Black Sabbath). He out did himself from last year.
I met up with Genesis, Monica, and Daniela later on during the day. Moni was kind enough to smoke Chris and I out many times for the rest of the day lol. The show ended at like 11:00, and I got home at like 12:15, had something to eat, then went to sleep (or should I say, passed out). It sucked though, cuz I had to be at work at 8:45 this morning, and I totally did not want to wake up that early... But I made it in, no worries. I was excited to see that I got my new Mudmen CD in the mail, so far from what I've listened to, it's great! But I wasn't expecting any less. Alright, well I'm about to go out with Steve and Stephen for dinner. Later kids!
