Why can’t life be simpler? Better yet why do you have to carry the responsibility of fixing your own life? It is so much trouble. They should invent a career called ‘life fixers’, we help the hopeless…. or something. And you could walk in and tell them your life story and unlike shrinks (who give you suggestions on what you should do) they could fill out all the proper paperwork for you and give you a degree or pay your bills for you or give you the deed to a house or car. That would be sweet.
Is it harder to get someone to believe something they have never believed in or to disbelieve something they have always considered to be absolute truth?
