(no subject)
There are three screenwriting contests within the next four weeks. The new script won't be ready, however, there is an alternative.
I read a earlier draft of my action/fantasy script. I never sent this particular draft out, but it has potential. The story still reads pretty tight, IMHO. There's a few spots that need fixing but that's with every draft. I'm going to focus on updating this draft and sending it out. I don't expect to place (although it would be nice). I'm doing this more to get back into focus and have a feeling of accomplishment about my writing.
I need to stop playing WoW long enough to remember how to focus on other priorities. I'm going to take November off. It shouldn't be too hard since I'll be away the first week anyway. I can only wonder how many guild members I'll lose but that really doesn't matter in the realm of real life, does it?
Still need to see '30 Days of Night'. I saw the Will Smith 'I Am Legend' trailer. It looks very promising. I read they're remaking 'Escape from New York'. I'm not happy about that.
Looking forward to 'Sweeney Todd'!
