So, I'm on Yahoo verifying information on a map for Milwaukee's Summerfest.
The festival section is coming out next week, and it includes a quick
preview of the summer's big events...including a story about the
music-lover's orgasm up in Wisconsin.
When I ran a search for the Summerfest fairgrounds, Yahoo came back with no
results. Yahoo kindly told me I might want to look outside of Bartlett, IL,
for the fairgrounds. Yahoo is indeed a halpful and friendly beast.
After whapping my forehead for my minor stupidity, I clicked on "change
location," changed Bartlett to Milwaukee and tried the search
again.
This time, Yahoo told me to enter a valid location. I checked my entry, and
I had indeed changed Bartlett to Milwaukee. The information
seemed correct, so why wasn't it recognized as a valid location? I tried my
search again.
Yahoo came back at me with the valid location request again. Yahoo is indeed
a fickle friend.
"What?" I expressed to no one in particular.
The definition of insanity is often indicated by the illogical duplication
of an action with an expectation of different results. So I tried again.
I began to hate Yahoo. The friend who became the enemy. The uncooperative
Yahoo, always telling me to enter a valid location. What's more valid a
location than Milwaukee, IL???
