Whoa, that was beautifully written. Caprica's POV is utterly compelling.

Thank you so much! I was really conflicted about the first-person style so it's such a relief that it worked.

I COULD NOT BE MORE DELIGHTED WITH THIS. I was at a friend's house for the past two days, so I saw this (and hastily read it on the sly) but didn't get a chance to respond, but oh! It's so beautifully written and the I/you works so so so well and them! Themmmmm! You write about the two years before and their magical fairy tale ending and you use Saoirse... it's almost as if you know me and know what I would most want in a fic!

Also, you mentioned Gina. The bit about getting shot in the head. "Dressed up and draped over each other." And, and, "when you were dead I would forget you," because you can't love past death, Love can be close to sadness!!!! MORE A SIN THAN A MIRACLE, OMG, your brain, it is my favorite brain and I love you!!!! YOU MENTIONED ALL THESE LOVELY THINGS AND YOUR WORDS ARE LIKE MAGIC AND THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

This is so incredibly gorgeous! I love the intimacy we see between them here, and the way Caprica's love for Gaius colors all of her memories and descriptions of this man who gets little love from anyone else. And he remembers her name! This whole story was just wonderful :)

Aww, I love the way you put that. Thank you! :) Especially happy the intimacy came through.

Eee, thank you for the lovely comment! <3 I like that her thoughts came off as slightly unreliable but genuine. :)
