I like how you've reordered the original...always a method I wanted to try. It works well for this fic. I find it interesting how you've explored how these guys shaped her, even though none of it really happened to her (except maybe Leoben, poor thing.)

Ooh, I like this. It's interesting, seeing how each of these men have an impact, but not really...

What an interesting story this is. I've always been fascinated by glimpses of how Sharon and Boomer's memories coalesce and I've always been *especially* curious about what Boomer's "memories" of her childhood were like. Someone had to invent those memories for her (or maybe she invented them herself, which would be even more interesting) and I always wondered what rich details they put there. These fake memories were presented in this lovely way that made me forget that they were all entire made up. But they fit Boomer/Sharon's personality too. So interesting the way you meld fantasy and reality and make them fit in so well with Boomer's and Athena's *actual* experiences.

The tension between the two narratives - of the sculptor imposing her will on the marble or the marble already having a will of its own that the sculptor really only releases - is a very clever metaphor for the tension between the faked memories and the actual experiences of Boomer and Athena. Masterfully done.

I really enjoyed this. Cylon memories fascinate me, and this does such an excellent job of weaving the fake memories, the real-but-not-hers memories, and then Athena's real and hers memories together. Well done.

Firstly, I'm *so* sorry it took me this long to comment - I've been busy and mostly offline for a long time. But, seriously, I can't tell you how much I loved this! The way you reordered the narrative, the extra details you put into all of the encounters, the twists you put on them - and especially the section with Lee, which gave me shivers.

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for this!! <3
