Challenge #1: sign ups

The first stage of Challenge #1 is closed and all the prompts have been collected by your friendly mods. Thank you to every one who stopped by and left prompts. :D We have 93 prompts so there's a wealth of inspiration!

You can sign up for this challenge any time between now and Nov 25th. Claim a prompt in the comments to this post and also specify a date between Nov 25th and Dec 25th, on which to post your response. We are doing this because the hiatus is way less boring if people post regularly. First in best dressed in terms of grabbing your due date, so if you don't want to post too close to Christmas, get in early! The idea is that we'll have people posting entries every couple of days during that time period. So if you can, pick a date that no-one else has chosen yet. The mods will then confirm the 'schedule' of sign-ups.

Sign up in the comments to this post giving the following information:
1. Which prompt you are claiming
2. Which due-date you are claiming (between Nov 25th and Dec 25th)

To keep things easy, there will be no minimum or maximum word count. Vids are also welcome. More than one person can respond to a prompt and newbie writers/vidders are more than welcome. Oh, and you can 'play' more than once if you wish! And yes, you can respond to your own prompts.

When the time comes to submit your response, simply post to this community. Further guidelines for posting will be given on November 25th. If you have other questions in the meantime, let us know.

If you're feeling nervous about participating, please consider this:
- everyone else is probably feeling the same way
- we all want more fic/vids
- the fan who wrote the prompt you're interested in is going to be REALLY excited someone wants to explore it
- if you don't write/make it, who will?
