I had a screencap of Thorne open while I was writing his scenes, trying to sort of get a mood for him, and I it creeped me right out the entire time. *shudders*

I have to agree with ithilwenn about Cain's lecture and Thorne. This is such an interesting fic! It's so real. I like the diary entry at the beginning - really sets the tone. This is beautifully written and more please! Would love to see their dinner that night. Gina's adorable and so innocent it makes you wonder... Thanks for writing this!!!

So cute! I love it. I love that Gina's falling so sweetly. I love that she's the only one who can see through Cain's armour - or that she's the only one Cain lets see that side of her.

I'm also hoping that this is AU enough that maybe it doesn't have such a tragic ending as the canon storyline... just a hope, that's all :-)

I'm actually considering writing two endings to this, as I keep leaping onto different ways things could fracture off onto completely different endings, so we'll see what happens there. =) Not that I want to get anyone's hopes up, but it's in the realm of possibilities at least.

Please forgive the unreasonable amount of time it took me to read all of this chapter. I've been interrupted so many times I've thrown things.

Maybe it's because I've been watching all the Michelle Forbes I can find, but I could hear her voice so perfectly in your Cain dialogue. SO perfectly, and not just during her lecture. Actually, I heard it most vividly, and pictured her subtle facial expressions when she asked Gina to dinner.

My heart just lept. And then freefell for a few feet, sprouted wings and soard.

COULD GINA BE CUTER!!! Such a spaz. You make me fall in love with her and Helena so many times it hurts.

I'm loving your clever storytelling in this. Especially regarding Simon. I'm guessing he's NOT a sleeper agent. Bad Simon. I'm eagerly anticipating and at the same time dreading the moment Gina discovers her true identity. I really wanna see what you do there.

I am partly very happy to hear that, and mostly very jealous of all your Michelle Forbesing. XD

Simon will make his return later on, for better or for worse. And by the way, your anticipation gets me really excited about continuing the writing, so thank you for that!
