question?
i guess i'll put this behind a spoiler cut, because i guess it could be a spoiler for the last episode -
okay. lot's of people have been talking about the number of women dead vs. the number of men dead. personally, my qualms with the treatment of laura aside, i think that the fact we know the names of the women that have been killed is a sign that they are important - i mean how many nameless men have died in the course of this series? but i don't really want to go down that path, since i DO have issues with the treatment of women on the show, just not that in particular.
but, not the point. people are specifically mentioning women who committed suicide on the show. and the count is now up to five, if you count kara choosing to explode in the viper - though she came back. so who are the other four? i feel really dumb asking this, but. i know cally *wanted* to kill herself, but then didn't. gina would be one. ellen was poisoned. are we counting kat? are we counting the times the eights have shot themselves, even though they are all around?
i am just confused! and kind of want to compare the suicide story lines, but i'm a little morbid like that.
