...at home in Canada
i have just had my second day of school and i have a couple of assignments in Art, english and i might do the media assignment as it is blogging :) so really i am doing it now. It is cold here but so lovely, everything is covered in snow and some people still have their xmas decorations up so i have had a glimpse of white christmas. I have my own room here which is really nice and we all have dinner together most nights.
my host family is really great there are three exchange students (me, alex and elena) and three kids and my host parents Victor and Lety so its a big family :D soon we will be a family of seven instead as Alex is going back to melbourne on saturday. it's cool i just worked out how to type apostrophes!! that wasn't what i intended to type ...
My host siblings are Chris, Alex and Chiara and it's really different for me having "brothers". Chris and i seem to be getting along pretty well as we go to school together and i still don't have my own classes so I hang around in his. we don't get to see much of Elena as she goes to a different school and doesn't get home until 6ish most nights but she is here for the same time as me so hopefully we can catch up on weekends and get to know each other.
I haven't picked up much french yet but i've started taking my (thanks leesh_beesh ) french book to school when we have french. so I'm learning a little but it's slow going on the talking bit must start doing more of the podcasts. I was hoping to get to do physics again but i think now that i want to do the bio and media stream as i was talking to some of Chris's friends today and physics doesn't sounds the same or as good here - Mr lawrence has spoiled it for us. Media looks good though, they're doing currently a more in-depth version of school design cycle stuff mixed with the tech base of VET/TAFE.
