GUH! OK...next I need you to write this from Carson's POV. I loved it. What a wonderful little moment. i love that she moans and he pulls back, but then he returns, that really kicks the longing up a notch. Really, I would be very happy. Thank you!

Ha! Carson's pov! I can just imagine! 'I can't do this, I'm the noble butler, not the good time Charlie!'

It was probably a little bit naughty for him to do, but I was trying to up the idea that they can smut it up. I don't want to be the only one who can imagine this. :)

Oh I have no doubt that they could smut it up as you have so convincingly shown us. I often wonder about this period. I guess perhaps it's a sort of civilian priesthood when you get to that level of house servant. The youngsters can still dust it up, but for Carson and hughes there has to be so much sublimation and self denial it does seem almost religious piety.

Yes, I know what you mean. Maybe that's why I like Elsie/Charles so much. We know that the young maids talk about her not letting them look at men. And he's so proper all the time. So, them getting it on is so outrageous for both of them.

Having finished the first season today I would have to say that if you find yourself dragged to Episode 1, you will most likely sprint to episode 7 and beyond I'm sure.

And besides the fact they're lovely together, the show really put that idea out there that she is searching for something more in her life. And as she rejected Mr Burns to fill that gap...

No, I did intend it as a one-shot. I'm sure I'll write others. I tend to get a bit carried away! And probably more from this episode. I do love this episode. It's so Elsie-centric.
