Writing meme
I thought I'd come out of hiding and do a meme. There're lots of Christmas memes going around at the moment, but I'm so boring with those (no, I don't have eggnog, real xmas trees or snow here). So, I decided to do a meme I did last year, because it fascinates me. Yes, I'm a bit of a numbers girl.
First, the word count:
Surface Gloss, 4 chapters = 10,493

That's a total of 181,737 words for the year (posted). I have another 9 chapters of stuff that I've written but is yet to be posted.
Last year I had 108,429 which was only from about June onwards. So, I've actually written slightly less! Ha! My excuse could be that I've also been busy this year with me_chat posts and ar_drabbles challenges.
The hardest to write: Sweet Dreams. It was for the makelaurahappy with a holiday challenge. I had nothing for that prompt for the longest time. I still think it turned out a little clunky.
Most nervous about: Twelve Steps. Thanks to those of you who thought it wasn't completely nutty!
Ones I hate: Environmentally Conscious - silly bit of nothing for the pornbattle. I was trying to get back into my smut groove. Not sure if it worked. LOL.
Ones I love: Twelve Steps and After the Smoke Clears. They win, hands down.
Riskiest writing: Twelve Steps and maybe Ageless Attraction. That could have turned out to be rather inappropriate if I wasn't careful.
My favourites: So, not sure what the difference between ones I love and my favs is. But anyway, I’ll say Unbreakable is my favourite because I get to sit back and let Bugs write all the difficult parts.
