Standing on his hind legs, Mr. Binky Furry-Bottom scanned the horizon for two legged enemy. Not finding the pigtailed menace, he blinked brown eyes in satisfaction. Going back to four legs, he hopped along the garden wall towards the burrough he had dug out. It was finally complete and the time had come. At the edge of the hole, he picked up the small bundle in his teeth and climbed down inside.
The squeeze was tight, but he was a strong bunny. Passing under the massive brick wall, his ears caught on the stone. There was no time for pain, no time for tears. Halfway under the wall, he felt the earth tremor and his heart froze.
It was the pigtailed menace.
Spurred on by two years of rage at being held prisoner, he put all his strength in his hind legs and shoved. The bundle in his teeth pushed up through the thick moss and grass on the other side of the wall. No time to savor his success, Mr. Binky pressed ever onwards. His feet hurt and his jaw was sore, but he did not give up.
Ahead, he could see the freedom. The sun was bright, the world was beautiful. He was almost there, just a little further. Just as his head broke free of the earth, something strong grabbed his hind leg. Eyes wide in panic, Mr. Binky kicked at it. He felt his toe nails scratch it and heard the pigtailed menace scream.
The demon had him!
Triumph at her scream filled him. He scraped her appendages harder, let her suffer as he had. Two years of pink outfits, two years of being squeezed in to tight spaces no reasonable rabbit would ever dream of entering. The worst of it, the utmost mind raping factor, Pink Bows, in his ears! Oh no, Mr. Binky decided, he was never going back to that.
With one final scratch, the pigtailed menace bellowed its rage and he was free. Too shocked to believe it, he remained half in the ground before it dawned on him he could go. With a might heave, he came up out of the ground and tumbled in to the wild grasses of the world beyond the backyard.
He was free! Mr. Binky Furry-Bottom was free!
Rolling in the grass for a few minutes to enjoy it, taking it all in, he didn't hear the approach of the white rabbit. It wasn't until she was standing over him, sniffing the air, that he realized he was no longer alone. Blinking up at her from on his back, he tried to smile. This was such a wonderful thing, he was free! "Hello, my name is Mr. Binky."
"I'm Ms. Fluffy." A tuff of platinum blonde hair between her ears moved as her ears twitched in curiosity. Leaning forward, she tilted her head a little to the side. "Are you alive?"
Captivated by her red eyes, he nodded.
"Prove it." Pressing her lips to his, she enjoyed the look of shock on his bunny features.
In the distance a brilliant flash of light consumed the heavens.
