oh, this is lovely. Such a bittersweet look at how the Adamas, and Kara, are and are not innocent before the fall. Caroline's intuition is a double-edged sword, isn't it? Thank you for showing her to us!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

And yes, I agree that Caroline's intuition is a double-edged sword, especially in regard to all the complicated relationships her loved ones have with each other, and with her.

So beautifully multilayered. This is so smooth and lyric that the short, independent paragraphs seem longer. The continuing threads are simple and easy to tie in visually, and the overall effect is gorgeous.

I love this story; it's very very good.

Thank you for the kind feedback! I'm happy to hear that the transitions didn't come off as awkward. I was concerned about that when posting, but decided that if people found them as such, they would tell me (hopefully in a constructive sort of way). ;o)

That was great and the Caroline POV makes it feel very fresh. I really enjoyed how delicately the emotions and relationships were revealed. Also, I loved that although not much was said about Kara and Lee's relationship you developed a really compelling back story for them.

Good job, and thank you ;-)

I'm glad you found that Caroline's POV helped keep things a little fresh since I've heard that the Zak/Kara/Lee dynamic is well-trod area in fic.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. :o)

I don't know exactly what to say...I'm still reeling from the tragic sadness of this piece with its touching moments of Kara and Caroline's happiness and the quiet, repressed Lee. Everything feels so natural and... argh I have no more words. But it's simply beautiful and very elegant just like Caroline.

This was really wonderful. I liked the scene with drunk Kara and Lee at the bridal shower and seeing the Zak/Kara/Lee relationship from an outside perspective.
