Most fics I write tend toward the <500 words length, so this was quite a challenge. I also ended up writing a character I haven't tried before since the others all refused to miss anything but people. How rude. Anyway ( Read more... )

Oh, I like this one a lot. Tigh's not an easy character to understand/sympathize with I think, but you nailed him here.

When I saw it was Tigh for the character I was like, meh. Because he doesn't do it for me, but you illuminated an aspect to him I hadn't considered. Makes me want to look at him closer on rewatching. Very nice job, and fit well with the length. 1000 words looks good on you. Look forward to reading more long fic, and yeah. Tigh is rude. But he is right. It is nice to have an off button. Just delays shit, though.And it makes me think a little more curious about his character.

I don't particularly like Tigh either, which was why I was confused when this idea popped into my head. ;-) That's another reason why this show is cool: even the characters I dislike have potential to be sympathetic.

This really is well done. You haven't made him sympathetic, given him some sort of sob story, just put him into the situation and let him go. Good job for that!

Thanks. I don't think I could make Tigh sympathetic even if I tried, since he 's just not that kind of character...
