Fanatic (Laura/Joseph)marzipanillaSeptember 22 2012, 00:27:23 UTC
There was a fight on the other side of the wall. She could hear the ring of the bell as the round ended, and the roar of the crowd. She could feel the energy, the excitement coursing through her veins just by knowing it was happening.
He found out about her love of boxing by accident, but Laura knew her boss didn't bring her out of fondness. Joseph had heard the change in her voice when she spoke of it. The affection she held for it, the passion for the sport, the fond thrill she got when explaining a favorite maneuver. She was a bit of a fanatic, and it wasn't hard to tell.
It was a spark he knew to utilize.
There was color to her cheeks and heat in her blood before they'd stepped through the door. They were ringside one round before he pulled her away and into the training room. The still audible cheers from the match had egged them on until they were against the wall. Her legs were wrapped around his waist and his wedding ring was caught in her hair as he held the back of her head, mouth latched to her throat.
The crowd grew louder, their shouts and stomps shaking the wall. Laura urged him faster, riding the group's adrenalin.
