And here I was going to nominate myself for Bill Adama because I had actually been working on a Top 10.

1. I wear glasses.
2. I love Saul Tigh very much.
3. I love books, especially mysteries.
4. I have very good dental hygiene (I have never had a cavity).
5. Whenever I speak in public, I wind up forgetting what I was going to say and making it up.
6. I like to drink but I don't doubt my best friend could drink me under the table.
7. I'm not afraid to cry.
8. I enjoy being in charge but I like having good backup.
9. Painting makes me angry.
10. I can sulk.

Laura Roslin

To be honest, I identify a lot with Laura. The closest I've gotten to 'power' is management, but I rule with an iron fist. I care about the people working for me (my 'fleet' as it were) and I like being in charge of the final goal, but I can see how others might see me as having ice water in my veins. I know what needs to be done, and sometimes that isn't pretty. I have a very good sense of what is right, but that doesn't always have a place in my job. It isn't always smart to do the right thing. I totally get that. :)

Kara Thrace

I'M NOMINATING MYSELF!!!

Why? Oh goodness - probably because I adore her partially, but also because I probably fit some of the attributes. I am enthusiastic and excited and I jump right into things without thinking about them. I write a LOT of Kara, and I think I have a good connection to her anger as well as the resilience. Hee hee! But I'd say my "HERE I AM BITCHES!" attitude is probably the most.

OH! And I played Kara in the recent RPG. Here's my website for her. Woot!

Why? Because Liz really has the ability to understand where Kara is coming from. When I write Kara, I often ask Liz for insights into who she is... which would, indeed, suggest that Liz knows her BETTER than I do. (Wait...? Am I supposed to admit that?) Liz is a great friend, as Kara is. She's fiercely loyal and tough as hell. I love her! :>D

Lee Adama

This idea really got me thinking about the qualities I share with my favorite character, Lee. I've been told by others that I am Lee-like because I'm a bit obsessive, like to play but the rules (most of the time), and empathetic. I'd also add that I am sincere, have a strong moral code, I'm a pretty good leader, and always trying to do the "right thing" instead of the "smart thing" - I cannot even tell you how many times this has screwed me over! Gah.

Negatively, I also tend towards jealousy, can feel terribly misunderstood, can get waaaay EMO, can lie to myself, and sometimes behave selfishly.

Unlike Lee, I am not brave or strong in the action-hero type of way. Nor do I look good in a tiny towel. *harrumph*

I guess this qualifies me? I think those who have met me could better attest. This is a bit hard and strange to write about. Hmmm...
