"I, Laura Roslin, do now avow and affirm, that I accept the office of the President of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol and that I will protect and defend the sovereignty of the Colonies, with every fibre of my being."
All the emotions on her face, the slight tremble of her voice... she's never been more human than that. Thank you for this wonderful question!
I started paying attention to the show when they aired Dirty Hands and browsing the net the first thing I found was Laura/Lee fanfic. BUT... I started to ship Bill and Laura the moment he handed her Dark Day. As a booklover I more than appreciated the gesture. You know it's love when he borrows you his books, yes? :D Thank you for the question!
Oh... good one. Gaius. Definitely and always Gaius. He grated my nerves from day one and although I know he's vital to the story and one of the most intriguing characters he annoyed and annoys me. He talks to himself (seemingly), he is egocentriy to the n'th degree and he never owes up to the chaos he happily produces.
I guess the answer is as old as time but I would change the abortion ban. In my opinion it was one of the most glaring OOC decisions the writers assigned to Laura.

I agree about the ideas being anti-climatic. I just wanted so much more from it all.
