(no subject)
With my two sections of 53 and my new web host, I decided that I should use some tools to help the course go smoother. My severe distaste sent me looking at Moodle (which I really am starting to like). I notified the IT department of my intentions... the seemed very interested in what I was doing. So much so that, they are considering setting up a server in their server room for me to use to test Moodle out on. I've agreed to help CERTI with my "findings" when I'm done with the semester.
Yesterday, I went to Price's for a little party. Kate's parents came in from Russia and were there. They didn't speak any English... they must've felt so awkward. We tried our best to communicate with them, and we had Kate as a translator. i really hate talking through a translator but I don't know Russian (I knew I should've taken it at LSMSA.. DAMN IT!). I brought along my amaretto and triple sec... Drank about half a bottle of each and then drove home - That alcohol barely touched me, especially after I ate too.
I've been invited to another .. umm.. "party" in Berger this weekend. I'm not quite sure what to expect... That's a lie.. I know what to expect. I'm not sure how I'm going to feel after Saturday. I'm hoping I won't feel as guilty as the time I went to Springfield.
I'm really *really* starting to miss some people :-(
