I totally get how Mary Anne feels--I'm just a really private person. If I had a crush on somebody when I was younger, I pretty much kept it to myself because I didn't want to be made fun of about it or have some blabber mouth tell him I liked him.
They think that the girl he's dating can't be 14 because of her huge tracts of land--Wow, I admit I'm blown away by this one. I never knew Cam was a teenager. I guess I just assumed he was in his 20s.
They'd worship me and my boobs--Mary Anne probably wouldn't look at any other part of your body! You'd have to do the "My eyes are up here." thing to her. :D
I used to love shopping for the new school year. I hated school but I loved school supplies.--haha, same here! Oh, I'd hate the mentions of back to school sales. I did enjoy picking out the supplies. And then I'd go back into the mood of 'fml, school's about to start."
One of the confusing things is she uses gum to stick things in her locker because tape is verboten--That just REALLY seems gross to use gum. And I would think it'd just fuck the poster up in the long run. "Yay, I just love my sticky Cam poster! I can't wait to use it in high school if I ever get there!"
Mary Anne is starving--Not for long. Kristy will do say a bunch of gross shit til you lose your appetite completely.
She says they feel like babies bringing lunch but nothing about the fact that Dawn does.--Then Dawn's smarter than all of you put together when it concerns this subject. You moan and bitch about the food the school serves you. What options do you really have? Either skip lunch or bring it from home. I really don't see how it's babyish to get plain lunch box and use it.
She surprised when Stacey and Claudia join them because they usually sit with their other friends. --Bet you two are regretting this by the end the of the series, eh? And Stacey, why didn't you go back to these other friends when you broke away from the cult and your new friends were just as shitty? Or did you burn that bridge to the ground? Putting myself in the shoes of ALL the friends the cult left behind when the cult formed, I'm not gonna welcome you with open arms if you leave the cult. I can't imagine how hurtful it was for those friends to be dropped like last week's garbage. We're not gonna be friends again if you leave that cult or get kicked out. Cause I'd be afraid the same shit would happen. "Well, it was nice hanging out with you for a month. I made up with my friends now so I'll go back to ignoring you. BYE!"
After K Ron does her usual 'school food is nasty' shtick--*sighs*

It's unfortunate being shy because the attitude people have of "You're a bitch because you're not talking your head off."

K Ron is embarrassed--Say what? Gee, maybe Logan needs to tell more stories if it'll keep Kristy quiet.

I don't know what the big deal is with bringing a lunch. At least you know you're getting something you like. Then again, I never brought lunch because my middles school's french bread pizza wasn't bad so, I always ate that.
It is nice to read about the BSC being normal teen girls, talking about boys and not kids. You know the only one who wouldn't be happy about this is K Ron. But who cares what she thinks?
