Basically, Claudia is a celebrity in seventh grade because she’s one year older than the kids.--I'm gonna have to bullshit this all the way around. Or maybe I'm just used to asshole kids that'd make fun of people for any reason?
Seventh graders are such dorks and not one of them are as cool as she is and they all know it.--I just never got attitudes like this. I never really thought I was hot shit because I was above the people in lower grades. And nice attitude to have considering you have two "friends" in 6th grade!
I’m not sure if I would have thought Claudia was cool.--For better or for worse, I think I would be interested in her outfits. I started watching "Quantum Leap" a few years ago and I loved Dean Stockwell's clothes on the show. I couldn't wait to see what he'd wear next. I can't help thinking Claudia would probably enjoy seeing the clothes too, maybe she could've pulled some inspiration from Al's clothes. Unfortunately QL doesn't exist in Stoneybrook since pop culture ended in the 60s.
Claudia is also keeping up with her reading and remembering things after she takes a test.--And that's why it kills me when she goes back to 8th grade. Head desk after head desk for that!
Has no one ever taught her these tricks?--I just have a hard time picturing somebody not telling her that before. I can definitely picture Mimi and Janine both telling her something like that.
The school is really shitty at teaching and spends time thinking up dances for dumbass occasions such as the leaves turned brown or there were flowers in the snow, or Claudia just never paid attention. Or maybe it’s a mixture of both.--Yeah, I'm gonna go with both.
And I wouldn’t even use the phrase decent terms with the BSC, given their shitty behavior.--Exactly.
Also, if the girls made it to high school, I’m pretty sure they would have been separated even more because of different class schedules. --Kristy will probably demand that the cult members stay together as much as possible. And Mary Anne will probably cry so hard that people will think she's just been to the funeral of her best friends instead of not seeing them during the school day. Seriously, I agree with the comment.
So what do eighth graders do at their dance? Hire strip dancers? Do body shots? Play dice games where if you roll a six you have to suck a dick and if you roll an eleven you have to cop a feel?--I love this! LOL!
I’d say Mallory would probably feel like she didn’t fit in.--Especially considering the "Spaz Girl" storyline is coming up. Talk about things going from bad to worse. :( And I'd also bring up Jessi for that one too. We all know about how the cult isolates the girls away from outsiders. It must've really been bad for Jessi when Mallory left. At least the good news is Jessi ends up leaving the cult and can have anybody she wants for a friend, maybe she'll pick up the friendship with Wendy?
Yeah, they would have ostracized you for speaking to someone else, not for being in another grade. --I'm really surprised they didn't do it here. "You're friends with 7th graders and they're not cult members? Claudia, we REALLY aren't happy with you right now..."
I don’t know where this came from.--Ann must be shitfaced again.
