and when Stacey says they can just exempt Mal on Wednesdays.--Exactly. Just go back to what I said earlier. I'm not trying to be a bitch to Mallory or Jessi, but what exactly do Junior Officers do?
Kristy asks if anyone is "disturbed" by the fact that two members are missing.--No. Because I realize these girls are finally realizing they have a life instead of sacrificing it all for a cult.
That's a bit of a strong word, Kristy. --Unless she's aiming it at her own direction. "Isn't it disturbing how I demand you all to give up your personal lives so you won't take anything away from the cult?"
And I think it's safe to say that the only thing anyone is disturbed by is your behavior.--lol, *nods*
"I am a reasonable person.--LOL! I'm surprised the roof didn't fall in on Kristy after making a whopper of a statement like that!
That is, if a BSC member has a good reason, like an accident or a death or a horrible family crisis..."--Really? I don't think so. As crazy as Kristy's acting now, none of that would be a good excuse for her. "I don't care if you had an accident, you have a BSC meeting to attend. You better find some way to get here." "So a family member died, huh? Well, you can go spend time with the rest of your family after the BSC meeting. And the funeral better not take place on a meeting day at meeting time either."
And most of the members can't go because they're going to Anna's recital, which I would say is pretty important--I'm honestly surprised Kristy isn't on the phone trying to get the recital's date changed. She's acting irrational enough to do it...
Why can't they do other regular middle schooler stuff while they wait for calls to come in?--I'm honestly surprised she doesn't have all the girls on the floor and making them bow constantly at her chair.
And obviously Jessi and Mal's, too, because they refuse to raise their hands. --I particularly feel for Mallory in this case. As shitty as the girls are to her, I think the club is one of the few bright spots in her life. And I could really see that in the Spaz Girl storyline.
Maybe let Nannie do the housework and you feed your own child. Just a thought.--Nah, I disagree. Poor Emily would probably wonder why mommy (Nannie) is ignoring her.
thinks no one is mentioning it because they are so torn apart they have no more tears to shed and no more pain to show. Wow, Kristy. Just wow.--Weird. I would think a normal person's reaction would be "The BSC might be over but we can still hang out and be friends."
Mallory calls and wants to meet up; she feels empty and wants the feeling of being friends.--I feel for her. Okay, she'll have the writing group but the poor girl's probably depressed beyond belief because she'll be home more and have to do even more shit around the house than she already does to start with.
She and Jessi are concerned about losing the others as friends.--A very realistic worry imo.
Shows how much care the others showed and how much they probably used them for their babysitting skils, huh?--Absolutely.
Why can't Kristy and Mallory just hang the two of them? --Exactly. The club was the only thing holding a lot of these "friendships" together.
Kristy asks if anyone is "disturbed" by the fact that two members are missing.--No. Because I realize these girls are finally realizing they have a life instead of sacrificing it all for a cult.
I would be disturbed. Since all the girls panic about getting there on time, if a couple of them were late, I'd be worried that they were in a bad accident or something.

My heart literally physically aches to think about how this fictional girl's only bright spot is hanging out with a group of mean girls because they're the nicest girls to her. How bad must everyone else be that this is the best there is? :(

Enjoyed the snark! :)
