So, I was thinking about Dawn and it was making me procrastinate on this snark. Because holy Hell, I did not want to read more about her. I also realised whenever I picture Dawn in my head, I picture this guy:

She tells him about how she can't stand that Carol isn't herself and she also has something of an Electra complex and nobody asked her permission--Dawn truly is a dumb bitch. Okay, I get having the kids meet somebody you're serious about so they can get to know her. But she's really in another planet if she SERIOUSLY thinks an ADULT will ask her "Dawn, can I get married to Carol?"

Jack says he thought she was done being a little cunt and she says being a cunt is in her blood. She can't just stop--LOL!

I'll leave you with this preview of my upcoming coverage of my killing Dawn and Jeff on the Sims.--lol, still looking forward to that!

When Jack invited Carol over for dinner, did he talk only to her and ignore his kids? --Can we please have Dawn's viewpoint for every single time Patrick shuts out David Michael? That's the one kid that I can fully accept ranting and raving about his shitty father. I realize DM's at a young enough age that he's hurt because he knows he's being flat out rejected. I just expect the whole shebang to come out when David Michael becomes a teenager and then he starts asking what's the problem with his "father"?

How can anyone write someone that self-centered and still have them be a protagonist? HOW?!--It truly scares me if the writers don't see the problems the characters clearly have.

Frankly, if I was Carol I'd run far from that family.--Same.

They mix together a bunch of shit, including glue, and drop Frodo in it.--*shakes head* Yep, I stick with what I said in another reply about the cat the Pikes had probably hid under the furniture and made a mad dash for the door the second it was possible. Those kids really don't have any business having a pet until they're able to handle it without torturing the poor thing.

All you can be is DAWN! That's the only right way to be! --Yeah, I know Carol's too classy to pull something like this but I wish she'd go around for at least a week looking and acting like Dawn. So am I acceptable to you now or are you STILL gonna be bitching about me?

And I think we can safely say she doesn't even like Mary Anne either. You don't treat people you like the way she treats...well, anyone, really.--I agree. And let's point out that the first thing Mary Anne did to really piss her off was something simple like catching the wedding bouquet, right? Something that small sets her off. But yeah, that storyline was wrong on so many levels. I would think even a HALF WAY DECENT person would be able to admit "I'm wrong. This just isn't working out and we BOTH need our own space. I'm sorry I forced you to do this."

Stephie says she's writing a book and she's dedicating it to Dawn and this is literally painful to read.--And no doubt Dawn will pick it to pieces instead of realizing it's a sweet gesture

-Ann on her way to her family's for the holidays---I LOVE IT!

I don't know how I survived it, but I did, so dance party!--*applauds* You did a great job with it!

I think Dawn would seriously benefit from people telling her 'I don't need your 'permission to do a damned thing!' It's just like when MA got her hair cut. She ended up thinking that she should have asked Dawn first. I really don't know what Dawn's problem is that she thinks everything must have her approval. She swears she's the boss of everyone.

Patrick is definitely a more negligent father than Jack. At no point did he shut Dawn out. It was Dawn who was being petulant and ignoring them. But as we all know, nothing is ever Dawn's fault! She's perfect!

Ann really needs to stop writing things that can legit do harm. Maybe if you don't know how to take care of a small animal, don't write about kids having one as a pet. What if some kid thinks, 'Yeah! I can dunk my hamster in a bunch of crap and just wash it out!'? That's fucking animal abuse and I won't stand for it!

Dawn is a long way from being any part a half way decent person. Like you said, the smallest things set her off. There is no pleasing her ever. She thinks that she's always right. That she's infallible. That she has to have her way all the time. I just hate Dawn so much I can no longer put it in words.

I think Dawn would seriously benefit from people telling her 'I don't need your 'permission to do a damned thing!'--And the person that finally does that would be 100% in the right. But no doubt Dawn would be so horrified "Why are you so mad at me? I didn't do anything wrong!"

Ann really needs to stop writing things that can legit do harm.--Agreed. There's other ways you can write about how "wacky" the family can be without harassing the pets. It's not as if the pet can open its mouth and talk like a human "You're bothering me, leave me alone." It works with what it has and yeah, that includes biting. I know one of the Pike kids was harassing Frodo and he ended up biting one of them.
