Beware, Dawn! Part 2!

Oct 18, 2015 02:02

My sleep schedule is pretty messed up again so, I decided to work on my snark some more. And lemme tell ya, it's pretty boring. It's all sitting chapters. So, I was right in my surmise that Ellen Miles writes boring books. I just imagine her and Ann at an old biddy meeting talking about how precious little kids are. And how funny, my goodness! ( Read more... )

ellen miles is boring, boring kids, snarker: road_baby, ann is an old dinosaur fart, mystery #2 beware dawn, the bsc lacks common sense, i really hate dawn, i hate dawn, i hate ann, hypocrisy

"I prefer, "Let's Bee Friends," and there's a picture of a bee on it"

I would choo-choo-choose that one, too. ;)

Know what's weird about the Kormans? In Karen's Kittens they get a...wait for it...KITTEN. There is no mention whatsoever about Skylar being deathly afraid of cats. So, maybe we should add the Kormans to the list of Worst Parents Ever? Wait, you know what, let's just save the time and make a list of Stoneybrook Adults Who Don't Suck. It would be much shorter.

1.Richard
2.Sharon (when ahe lays off the weed)
3.Mimi

See how easy that was? There might be one or two more, but I can't be bothered to put too much thought into this right now. It's late where I am.

Kristy's mom was cool until she became a Real Housewife of Stoneybrook, though.

I'd be willing to add Aunt Cecelia to that list.

I think it all went to hell when Mimi died.

I think it was in one of Claudia's books or the BSC Remember or something where Claudia has a bitchy, snotty art teacher in the 1st grade who tells her a butterfly cannot be a self portrait, and Mimi handles it with such grace and basically tells the teacher she's dumb as shit for not realizing an artist can portray themselves or their subject any damn way they want was one of my most favorite moments, ever.

You're right, both Elizabeth and Aunt Cecelia! Oh, and on Karen's end, Mr.Howard and Miss Hoffman, since they don't bow down to her.

Wow, this is beginning to restore my faith in Stoneybrook. A little, anyway.
